Subtitle Me turns what you say into live captions on your screen. It is built so that your conversations stay on your device.
What we collect
Nothing. Subtitle Me has no account, no analytics SDK, and no server of its own. We do not collect, store, or transmit your speech, captions, translations, or any personal information.
How your data is handled
- Speech recognition and translation run on your device using Apple's Speech and Translation frameworks. Depending on your device and language, Apple's speech recognition may process audio on Apple's servers under Apple's privacy policy. The app prefers on-device recognition whenever it is available.
- History (your past captions) is stored on your device. With the default "iCloud" storage setting it is also stored in your own iCloud Drive, under your Apple Account, and synced between your devices by Apple. You can switch to "This device only" in Settings at any time, and delete any session from the app.
- Microphone access is used only while a caption session is running.
- Purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. We receive no payment details.

Children
Subtitle Me is not directed at children under 13 and collects no data from anyone.

수집하는 정보
없습니다. Subtitle Me에는 계정, 분석 SDK, 자체 서버가 없습니다. 음성, 자막, 번역, 개인정보를 수집·저장·전송하지 않습니다.
데이터 처리 방식
- 음성 인식과 번역은 Apple의 Speech, Translation 프레임워크로 기기에서 처리됩니다. 기기와 언어에 따라 Apple 음성 인식이 Apple 서버에서 처리될 수 있으며, 이 경우 Apple 개인정보 보호 정책이 적용됩니다. 앱은 가능한 경우 항상 온디바이스 인식을 우선합니다.
- 히스토리(지난 자막)는 기기에 저장됩니다. 저장 위치가 기본값인 "iCloud"이면 사용자 본인의 Apple 계정 iCloud Drive에도 저장되어 Apple이 기기 간에 동기화합니다. 설정에서 언제든 "이 기기에만"으로 바꿀 수 있고, 앱에서 어떤 기록이든 삭제할 수 있습니다.
- 마이크는 자막 세션이 진행되는 동안에만 사용됩니다.
- 결제는 Apple App Store가 처리하며, 저희는 결제 정보를 받지 않습니다.

아동
Subtitle Me는 13세 미만을 대상으로 하지 않으며, 누구의 데이터도 수집하지 않습니다.
