The prompt behind it

Claude made this from the prompt below, working directly in Layerz Canvas through its MCP server. Paste it into Claude (Claude Code or Claude Desktop) with the Layerz Canvas MCP connected and it builds a new take on the same canvas — then you take over. Connect the MCP server

Prompt

Build this in Layerz Canvas using the layerz-canvas MCP.

Create a 10-second self-introduction reel at 1280×720, 60 fps, in which the app introduces itself in the first person: "Hello, I'm Layerz Canvas." Quick, warm, a little nerdy.

Look: dark #101114, violet #7C5CFF, mint #4ADE9B, soft white #EEF0F3. System sans 800 for big lines, monospace 400 for code. Light grain, glow on violet only.

Beats
- 0.0–1.5s: a blinking caret, then typewriter text in monospace: "> hello". Pause, then "I'm Layerz Canvas." sets in 800 beside it with a scale-pop.
- 1.5–3.5s: a small code window slides in from the right and types three lines like a profile:
platforms: Mac · iPhone · iPad
  skills: design, motion, screen recording
  exports: mp4, gif, lottie, html
Each line ticks a mint check at its end.
- 3.5–5.5s: "I draw." — a pen path draws a circle; "I move." — the circle morphs into a star and spins; "I record." — a red dot appears and pulses. Each phrase replaces the last on a vertical push, 0.6s apart.
- 5.5–7.5s: the star bursts into 150 violet and mint particles that swirl around the centre and settle into the outline of two stacked chevrons.
- 7.5–10.0s: chevrons fill violet with a spring; "Layerz Canvas" sets beside it; "layerz.app/canvas" types below in monospace. The caret from the opening blinks at the end of the URL, closing the loop.

Craft notes: first person throughout; never more than eight words of big type on screen; every beat ends a frame before the next begins (no overlap); the caret is the throughline from the first frame to the last.

Edit it yourself

  • Change colours, text and type in the inspector.
  • Drag keyframes, reshape easing curves and retime any move.
  • Ask Claude for changes through the MCP, then fine-tune by hand.
  • Export it as an image, a video, Lottie or a web page like this one.
