Prompt

Build this in Layerz Canvas using the layerz-canvas MCP.

Create a 15-second abstract motion piece, 1920×1080 at 60fps, inspired by Bauhaus posters: a strict 4×3 grid of tiles where primary shapes slide, roll, fold and snap in a tight rhythm.

Look: off-white #EFE9DC, black #151515, red #D7261E, yellow #F2B705, blue #1F4E9E. Shapes only: circles, half-circles, squares, quarter-circles, triangles, thick bars. One word appears in SF Pro Display Black, all caps. Paper grain over everything.

Beats (rhythm of 0.5s):
- 0.0–2.0s The 4×3 grid lines draw on from the top-left corner. One red circle drops into the first tile and settles with a small overshoot.
- 2.0–5.0s Tiles fill one by one along a snake path: a yellow quarter-circle sweeps open, a blue square rotates 90° and lands, a black bar slides in, a half-circle rocks back and forth. Each tile starts exactly on the 0.5s grid.
- 5.0–8.0s The whole grid becomes a machine: the red circle rolls from tile to tile and every tile it touches reacts — triangles flip, bars slide out, quarter-circles open and close like mouths.
- 8.0–10.0s Hero: all twelve tiles rotate 90° at once in 2.5D, revealing a second composition on their backs — a single large circle split across the tiles.
- 10.0–12.5s The large circle morphs into the letters "FORM" spread one letter per tile in the middle row, while the outer tiles keep pulsing.
- 12.5–15.0s Tiles fold away to the centre one by one (reverse snake order) leaving only the red circle from the start; it stops dead centre. Tiny "Made with Layerz Canvas" in the corner.

Craft notes: never break the grid — every shape stays inside its tile except the rolling circle; no gradients, no glow; use only flat colours and crisp stop-start motion with short eases (0.25s).

Edit it yourself

  • Change colours, text and type in the inspector.
  • Drag keyframes, reshape easing curves and retime any move.
  • Ask Claude for changes through the MCP, then fine-tune by hand.
  • Export it as an image, a video, Lottie or a web page like this one.
